Victorian Dino

A silly Moleskine sketch, colored in Photoshop.

Back!

Hi everyone!!
Sorry for disappearing for a bit there. Things have been a bit busy around these parts.  I have a couple of different client projects I'm working on.  Also, I got married!
Now I'm back and making some art, so lots of stuff to come.
Here I am with my lovely wife on a dinosaur. Of course!

Mr. DNA

I love the Mr. DNA animated sequence from Jurassic Park.  Especially the way he says "baby dinosaur".  Great moment in a great movie.

And here it is!

Sketch 'spolsion!

Pirates and knight and ogres.  And a hockey player.  But of course.  I also just realized I've used the title Sketch 'Splosion! before.  Bummer.

Sketchbook

A bunch of sketches from the ol' sketchbook.  Some of these were posted on my instagram and tumblr, though these are fancy shmancy scanned versions.

Dino Problems

A moment I've experienced way too many times.

Rex and Pterry

Some dinos to warm you on these cold winter days.

King Kong v Dino

Prehistoric Royal Rumble.

Stegs!

He does this trick at parties, mostly to impress the dino ladies.

Dino Party!

The terrible lizards are known for carousing late into the night.

Cavemen Doodles

Some silly prehistoric drawings.

Beasts! Fiends! Rapscallions!

Here's a whole bunch of quirky creatures.  I was trying to play with some color palettes outside of my comfort zone.  It was fun. These guys don't look like they're having fun though. . .

NYPY Preview

New York, Phew York is at the printers, which is super exciting.
You can check out an online preview of the book here.

In the meantime, here's a dinosaur doodle.

Raptor

A raptor, complete with feathers.

Some sketches

No rhyme or reason to these, just a bunch of sketches from the past few days.
