Work in Progress

This is a drawing for a piece I'm working on.  I'm coloring this bad boy now.  I'll have the finished piece and some process stuff up soon.

    Oh wow - I've looked at this several times and only just noticed the little person and horse. So amazing, Tim!

      Thanks!! yeah, he's a pretty tiny dude. The drawing is pretty big, about 11x14, so he's a bit easier to spot.

    Really beautiful. Just a few questions regarding to the technique:
    - Did you use a pencil? which type fo shadows, background, details?
    Did you take pictures or the work in progress?
    After so many years, you forced me to get back to drawing. Now there is a pencil in my hand and I need some tips :P

      I'm so glad you've been inspired to draw again!
      Yes, it is all pencil. I used 4H, H, HB and 2B on this one.
      I think I have some work in progress shots. If I do, I'll put them up.
